On Monday we can take a creative journey and use some watercolor paint to embellish this panel for our seaside scene. Some of the panel has already been pre-painted by me but we will add more to stretch our creativity. After that we will journey on to embellishing it with fibers. A bit of stitching and then we can add a bit of wool for a old rugged wooden fence. How about a few pieces of wool for some leaves in our hydrangea bushes with some French Knots. I also added a WORD that has meaning to me for this scene....how about you? do you have a favorite WORD you could add, or even a saying would be nice.
Maybe you have your own ideas of what you would like to add, lets create together to make our own piece of art.
Tuesdays class is still in the works but it will be a floral idea with a stumpwork leaf added. I am working on a SUNFLOWER. We can create a weaved center with a few French Knots, lazy daisy petals, crossed stitched stem and a fabric vase. I also have a perfect sunflower charm to add, and how about another WORD or Saying for our Bloom!! Mine is picked out .. I will share my picture as soon as it finished.
